Eric Forster is the Managing Principal of ForsterAdvisors. He is the author of a mortgage primer, The Mortgage Applicant's Bible, and in 2005 was among the first industry professionals to warn in a series of articles that the credit markets were approaching a meltdown. Forster, who has held management positions in the real estate and mortgage industries, has been a litigation consultant & expert witness since 1997 and currently serves as Chair of the Real Estate Experts subcommittee of the American Bar Association. He holds a California real estate & mortgage broker's license No. 00827388.
In addition, Mr. Forster mediates real estate and construction disputes through the American Arbitration Association and the Los Angeles County Superior Court. He serves as an arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, as well as the National Futures Association.
